Adios, mi casa. |
As the reality of leaving our home of the past 21 years really hit (like a mini tsunami) DB and I began saying our goodbyes. Viva Espana! |
Goodbye soggy front lawn, fronted by Lake Washington and surrounded by a burgeoning garden of multi-seasonal color. AND, GOODBYE cloudy with a chance of precipitation. GOOD RIDDANCE drizzle with a chance of sun breaks. SO LONG rain with a 100% chance of more rain! SEE YOU LATER Seattle 5pm traffic in December in the bumper-to-bumper, dank, wet. CIAO leaving for work in the dark and coming home in the dark. Understand, we can trash talk the Northwest winters because collectively we've lived through 120 of them. Hello sun, sea, and sandals!
